Agricultural Commodity Price Outlooks 2020
- Agricultural commodity prices as measured by the Bcom ag index have only risen in one year out of the last seven, in 2016. And that was only by 1.8%. But losses, which amount to nearly 50% over that sevenyear stretch, at least slowed last year, to less than 1%, with hopes of a China-US trade deal, and South East Asian biodiesel growth, among spurs to a late-2019 recovery.
